This role involves inheriting a substantial portfolio of longstanding, white collar clients, generating circa £350,000 income. Individual clients typically generate between £10,000 - £25,000 income and are headed by sophisticated insurance buyers.
Many clients are based in Grade 1 listed buildings in Central London, with complex exposures, including significant spend on Professional Indemnity and other financial lines covers. This is a loyal portfolio that has been with the broking house for many years due to its knowledge of specialist sectors.
You will build a detailed understanding of your clients and their sectors, keeping in regular contact with senior personnel at these organisations. You will scrutinise their insurance programmes to ensure they remain robust and suggest innovative ways to mitigate any gaps in cover, securing comprehensive cover at competitive premiums.
You will be supported by a dedicated team of Account Handlers and Brokers who understand the niches in which they operate. It is essential to have experience as an Account Executive, including knowledge of Professional Indemnity insurance.
You must be comfortable in a client-facing capacity, possessing the gravitas and authority to command buy-in from highly educated, senior personnel at well-known organisations. Excellent communication skills, organisation, and attention to detail are crucial.
In return, you will receive a generous basic salary anticipated to be up to £80,000, with flexibility for experienced candidates. Additional benefits include a car allowance, bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. There are opportunities for progression within this thriving, multi-site brokerage.
