This is a superb opportunity to join one of the biggest names in the insurance industry in a leadership capacity. The Maidstone branch of this global broker has just enjoyed its most successful year ever in terms of renewal income, new business acquisition, and cross-sales. Picking up some of the most coveted corporate accounts across a range of fascinating industry sectors (Manufacturing, Life Science, Food & Beverage, Retail, Tech), there are few brokers in the business that boast such an enviable client list.

On our briefing call with the hiring manager, they were adamant that, “there is simply no better place to have an insurance career than this business.” They went on to tell us that this role gives people exposure to risks that they simply won’t find in other companies, involving interesting work encompassing a true Risk Advisory approach and Crisis Management projects with high-profile clients.

You will be responsible for overseeing a small team of experienced Account Executives, where duties will include, but not be limited to, overseeing workflow, ensuring relevant training is provided, coaching, mentoring, and 121s. Additionally, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of 4-5 large corporate clients, allocated in line with your experience, strengths, and ambitions.

While previous managerial experience would certainly be welcome, we will consider experienced Account Executives (who have perhaps had some non-official mentoring/coaching experience) ready to step up into an official leadership role. Most importantly, you’ll be fair, approachable, and inspiring, with a genuine passion for developing others.

It is essential that you have experience working as an Account Executive. While this need not extend to managing clients generating £50K+ fees, it is essential that you have dealt with larger commercial risks and can demonstrate the enthusiasm and ability to handle more complex, major corporate risks. You must be a polished communicator capable of securing ‘buy-in’ from corporate clients across various industry sectors.

Our client offers a flexible-working arrangement, allowing you to work from home twice a week. As such, this role will suit candidates from across London and the South East.
