Very seldom do opportunities like this arise within the local insurance market.

Known by many as the most prestigious insurance broker in the world, our client has a rare opportunity for a Corporate Account Executive to inherit an existing portfolio in Reading. This position has arisen due to the previous Account Executive emigrating, so the portfolio will be stable and secure.

The branch is performing very well, consistently growing its account base through acquiring quality corporate clients; recently, they secured two leading clients from competitors.

According to the Director, \”Our growth creates great opportunities for ambitious insurance professionals. We support our staff every step of the way to achieve their career goals.\”

As part of your role, you will inherit a book of approximately 12–15 corporate clients, allowing you to develop strong relationships with each. The portfolio can be tailored to your experience and interests, covering sectors like Hospitality, Life Sciences, Property, Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesaling, and Health & Social Care. Risk fees typically range from £25K to £100K, with some exceeding this amount. This role focuses on managing existing accounts rather than new business development, with growth primarily through cross-selling and upselling additional services.

While experience in corporate broking is advantageous, applications from aspiring Commercial Account Executives are also welcomed. You should be passionate about risk advising and creating bespoke insurance solutions for clients, capable of engaging effectively with senior-level stakeholders, and possess polished communication and presentation skills.

You will be supported by a skilled Account Handling and Broking team, enabling you to focus on client advising and relationship building.

This company is renowned for high employee retention and caring for its staff’s wellbeing.

Compensation includes a competitive basic salary comparable to London market roles, a car allowance, a lucrative bonus, and flexible benefits tailored to your needs.

Enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, combining office, home, and client visits as required.

Aston Charles offers a personalized service from industry experts in General Insurance and Financial Services Recruitment.
