Recognised by those ‘in the know’ as the North East’s premier brokerage, this global controls some of the region’s most coveted accounts and is staffed by many of the area’s most gifted and entrepreneurial insurance professionals.

This is a superb opportunity to inherit a portfolio of mid / corporate portfolio of accounts generating between £250,000 - £300,000 commission and fee income.

The exact make-up of this account can be tweaked to suit your skills, experiences and ambitions, but is likely to include clients from such sectors as manufacturing, construction and engineering, with individual earnings ranging between £10,000 - £50,000.

The focus of this role is very much on the retention of this longstanding and loyal portfolio of accounts, and ensuring existing clients’ insurance programmes reflect their exposure to risks.

However, you will be passed clients from colleagues on the Business Development Team who work with leads that are provided from a major high street bank.

It is essential that you are an experienced Account Executive who is au fait with the full suite of commercial covers and comfortable dealing with clients from a range of sectors.

Whilst it is not essential that you are currently working with corporate accounts, you must demonstrate that you will be able secure ‘buy-in’ from larger, more complex clients.

As such, you must be confident, professional and have excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients, including some of the region’s most respected businesses.
