Bristol Salary negotiable, plus market-leading benefits. This global broker is performing terrifically and needs an additional Corporate Account Handler. You will be managing some fascinating clients and encouraged to shadow Account Directors on site visits. Here, you will be working with 3 or 4 Account Directors / Executives, assisting them on a portfolio of 8–12 accounts. Clients will vary in fee income from £30K to £200K, coming from a range of industry sectors such as Pharma, Tech and Construction.
You’ll have exposure to some of the most well-known corporate entities in the South West and Wales, working alongside incredibly gifted insurance professionals who have a great deal of knowledge and experience to impart on enthusiastic insurance brokers who have a thirst for knowledge.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Working on complex renewals
- Assisting with amendments to cover throughout the course of the policy
- Building strong relationships with your clients
As your clients’ organisations continue to evolve, you will work in conjunction with your colleagues to ensure that their exposures to risk remain adequately covered. This is an Account Handling role that genuinely provides great exposure to client-facing duties; this is therefore ideal for someone who would ultimately like to become an Account Executive / Director and beyond.
Knowledge of all common commercial covers and some exposure to dealing with reasonable-sized business is important, but “finding someone with energy, ambition and a hunger to progress” is crucial to the Branch Director.
