The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations across EMEA, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless and compliant payroll delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at scale, drive process improvements, and contribute to operational excellence across multiple countries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing multi-country payroll operations across EMEA (including key European markets and selected African regions)
- Partnering with outsourced payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing
- Acting as a key point of contact for HR, Finance, Benefits, and external stakeholders
- Owning payroll compliance, including statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Analysing payroll data and delivering insights to improve processes and performance
- Leading vendor performance management and resolving payroll issues through root cause analysis
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency and controls
- Staying up to date with changing payroll legislation and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in EMEA or international payroll operations
- Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll, tax, and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with global payroll systems (ADP, SAP or similar)
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end payroll processes in a complex environment
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and experience working across global teams and vendors
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting large, multi-country payroll environments
- Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy in payroll
- Exposure to payroll transformations, system implementations, or automation projects
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
