Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment? Join a leading industrial power systems organisation as a Transport Planner, where youβll play a key role in planning and managing global customer shipments. Full training in global export regulations will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and manage the shipping of customer orders to a global network of distribution and OEM partners
- Liaise with internal departments (Customer Services, Warehouse, Transportation) and external customers
- Complete export documentation, including proformas, labels, and shipping notes
- Coordinate with customers and carriers to arrange and ensure timely bookings
- Facilitate the freight invoice process, managing carrier invoices through to payment and resolving exceptions
- Support time-sensitive deadlines and business needs, which may require flexible working hours to ensure shipments leave on time
- Ability to use initiative and resolve problems independently
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Positive team contributor
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail, especially under pressure
- Experience using SAP
- Knowledge of export regulations
- Customs warehouse experience
