Join our dynamic team to support the financial management and audit processes. You will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day financial responsibilities, including reconciling bank statements and assisting with audit work. This interim position is expected to last at least through June 30th, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Create journal entries and process account codes.
- Pull data for audit purposes.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and other accounts.
- Gather and process accounts payable documentation.
- Enter payroll journal entries.
- Assist the travel department in ensuring funding and documentation are complete before CFO approval.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with general ledger accounting.
- 2-3+ years of accounting experience, including bank reconciliations.
- Basic proficiency in Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with local government accounting.
- Familiarity with Tyler Munis ERP systems.
- Accounts payable and/or travel experience.
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
Work Environment:
Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in a fully equipped office environment.

Pay And Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
