About the Role

We are seeking an experienced A Level Chemistry Lecturer to join a well-established college in Birmingham on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in teaching Chemistry in a classroom environment and the confidence to deliver high-quality lessons to A Level learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured A Level Chemistry lessons.
  • Support learners through clear explanations, practical demonstrations, and effective assessment.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching A Level Chemistry in a classroom setting (essential).
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet learner needs.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred but not always essential depending on experience.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
