Join our dynamic team to support the financial management and audit processes. You will play a crucial role in managing day‑to‑day financial responsibilities, including reconciling bank statements and assisting with audit work. This interim position is expected to last at least through June 30th, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Create journal entries and process account codes.
- Pull data for audit purposes.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and other accounts.
- Gather and process accounts payable documentation.
- Enter payroll journal entries.
- Assist the travel department in ensuring funding and documentation are complete before CFO approval.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in accounting and reconciliation processes.
- 2-3+ years of SLED accounting experience (GASB standards, supporting external audits, budgeting, grants, reconciliations, AP/AR).
- Experience with general ledger accounting.
- Basic proficiency in Excel.
