Job Details

  • Pay: £17.01 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.5 of basic Monday–Saturday AM, x2 of basic on Saturday PM and Sundays)
  • Hours of Work: 38 hours per week – Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Up to 6% employer pension contribution, 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Welplan Insurance, PPE provided (Overalls, T-shirts, Jumpers, £35 Safety Boots voucher)

Job Role

As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for welding aluminium, copper, and steel using MIG and TIG processes. Duties include fabricating steel components and welding assemblies from technical drawings, and operating hand tools and workshop machinery. You will also maintain a safe and clean working environment with good housekeeping standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, Or Qualifications

  • MIG welding experience on aluminium or stainless steel
  • Ability to fabricate and assemble products working from technical engineering drawings

Advantageous Skills, Experience, Or Qualifications

  • C&G/NVQ in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent
  • CSCS Card/CCNSG or equivalent
  • Full Driving Licence
