We are looking for a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team in Birkenhead. This is a temporary (long‑term) role with competitive pay and core working hours Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a 2:30 pm finish on Friday. Overtime is available after core hours and on weekends.

Pay: £20.86 per hour (Overtime Rate 1: £31.29, Overtime Rate 2: £41.72)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to carry out precision TIG welding on both stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
  • Work to a coded standard, ensuring all welds meet required specifications.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience TIG welding stainless steel and carbon steel.
  • Ability to work from technical drawings.

Advantageous Skills and Experience:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ in TIG welding or similar.
  • Previously coded TIG welder for 6G.
  • Some fabrication experience.
  • Background in steel fabrication.
