Recruit4staff are representing a well-established food manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in Telford.

Job Details

  • Pay: £55,620 per annum (£5,000 signing-on bonus after successful completion of a probationary period)
  • Hours of Work: 7:00 – 7:00, 4 on 4 off (days and nights)
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Benefits: Pension scheme (matched contributions up to 4%), 282 hours annual leave, Health care cash plan

Job Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, testing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment. You\’ll support prioritisation and root cause analysis (RCFA) through the use of a Planned Maintenance System (PMS), liaise with OEMs for technical support, and expedite parts not held on-site. Your focus will be on reducing downtime, supporting 5S programmes, and logging all engineering activity via an electronic maintenance system, in line with ISO 9001:2000 standards.

  • Background in Food, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical sectors
  • Must be Multi-Skilled
  • Recognised time-served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship

Advantageous Skills, Experience, Or Qualifications

  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification
