Pay: £70,000

Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 45 hours

Duration: Permanent

As Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing and optimising all aspects of the supply chain for the project—from procurement through to delivery. You will ensure materials, subcontractors, and logistics meet time, cost, quality, safety and compliance targets. You will work closely with project management, design, engineering, procurement and on‐site operations to guarantee smooth execution across civil works. This role will require close collaboration with internal teams to align supply‐chain activities with milestones and site needs, as well as managing supplier and subcontractor relationships.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of civil engineering construction processes including materials, plant, subcontractor supply, logistics, health & safety and compliance demands
  • Demonstrable experience in supply‐chain within large‐scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects (ideally heavy civil, nuclear or energy infrastructure)
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Degree (BEng / BSc or similar) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
