- Pay: Up to £44,000 per annum
- Hours of Work: Rotating shift pattern: 6am - 2pm | 2pm - 10pm | 10pm - 6am
- Week 1: Morning Shift
- Week 2: Morning Shift
- Week 3: Night Shift
- Week 4: Afternoon Shift + Weekend on-call
- Duration: Permanent

Job Role
As a Tool Maker, you will be responsible for assembling, fitting and repairing tools used in a manufacturing setting, specifically injection moulding tools. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, marking out designs, and using both hand tools and machinery like lathes, grinders, and milling machines to manufacture or repair tools. You will monitor tool performance on production lines, attend breakdowns, and contribute to tool maintenance and reporting duties.
Essential Skills, Experience, Or Qualifications
- Proven background in tool repair and installation work
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, milling, and lathe operations
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Competence in using precision measuring equipment
- C&G/NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Advantageous Skills, Experience, Or Qualifications
- Abrasive Wheels Regulations certification
- CAD/CAM experience or qualifications
- Experience working with injection moulding machinery or tooling
