Forklift/ Warehouse Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturing company in their search for Forklift/ Warehouse Operative to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Forklift/ Warehouse Operative our client is offering;

• Pay Rate of £13.00 per hour
• 10.00 – 18.30 Mon – Friday
• Temporary – Permanent position
• Free parking
• Life Insurance – once passed probation period
• Annual profit related bonus – once passed probation period
• Pension and Healthcare plan – once passed probation period
• Sterile warehouse environment

The role – Forklift/ Warehouse Operative;

• Daily use of a warehouse base computer system
• Picking / packing
• Wrapping
• Daily use of a Forklift
• Palletising
• Goods in
• Booking in and stock taking
• Ensure the safe receipt, storage and issue of products
• Supporting in other areas of the business when required

What our client is looking for in a Forklift/ Warehouse Operative;

• Previous experience within a similar role – ESSENTIAL
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence – ESSENTIAL
• Pivot Steer/ Bendi licence- DESIRABLE
• Previous use of computer systems, ideally in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work in a small team
• Must have goods in/ stock take experience- ESSENTIAL
• Due to site location, own transport is essential
