Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for Food Production Operatives to work in their leading facility in Whitchurch.

The Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:00
  • Temporary - Permanent position
  • On-site walk around / Induction to understand the roles and environment
  • Growth within multiple sections / areas of the business
  • Career progression / In House training

The Role

  • Packing
  • Cutting blocks of cheese to specified sizes
  • Palletising
  • Unboxing products
  • Heavy lifting up to 20kg
  • Quality checking
  • Deal with rejects from the production lines
  • Follow food and hygiene regulations on site
  • Work with a team of around 6-8 people
  • Supervise the correct running of the various machines ensuring quality finished product
  • Correct daily/weekly cleaning documents

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry (DESIRABLE)
  • Picking/packing/palletising experience (DESIRABLE)
  • Be able to complete/read labels and paperwork when required (ESSENTIAL)
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 20kg (ESSENTIAL)
