The Contract Manager will oversee hard services facilities management contracts across the Midlands region, ensuring high standards of service delivery and customer care. You'll lead multi-disciplined engineering teams, maintain profitability, and manage contractor performance. This role demands strong leadership, commercial acumen, and technical expertise across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services. Key responsibilities include compliance with QSHE policies, managing client relationships, overseeing handovers from commercial to operational teams, and driving organic growth within your portfolio.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Proven experience managing facilities management/building services contracts
- Excellent technical knowledge of hard facilities management services (Plumbing, HVAC, electrical etc)
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of growing commercial contracts
- Exceptional ability to understand and anticipate customer needs, delivering personalised solutions
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and identify growth opportunities
- Full driving licence
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Technical trade qualification in a building services/construction related field
- IOSH/COSHH or similar qualification
