A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Trusts + Statutory Manager to support our ambitious 5-year strategy by using your relationship-building skills to grow and develop high-value strategic funding relationships with Trusts and Foundations.

Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs.
We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime.
We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of high-value prospects (focus on 6-figure and multi-year opportunities).
- Identify new opportunities and develop bespoke cultivation plans with a strong emphasis on new business.
- Provide an excellent stewardship experience for existing funders.
- Lead on creating compelling proposals and inspiring reports to demonstrate impact.
- Support the development of new propositions of strategic importance to the charity.
- Line manage the Senior Trusts Officer, supporting the mid-value portfolio to achieve targets and develop their potential.
- Collaborate across the organisation to secure funding and drive strategic partnerships.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Tenacious and proactive with a proven track record of securing and managing 6-figure partnerships with funding partners, including generating new business.
- Experience with a relationship-led approach to Trusts and Statutory fundraising; ability to engage funders and prospects through tailored engagement plans.
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to build mutually supportive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Experience of line management and working in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
