About Asterix
We’re solving the biggest problem in healthcare: The shortage of highly-qualified doctors. Millions of patients wait weeks for appointments. Millions more are stuck on hospital waitlists. Preventable conditions are missed and go unnoticed. You know this is a societal problem. Asterix is building the only scalable solution: a new model of care where highly-qualified doctors are augmented by best-in-class technology to make safer, more consistent clinical decisions. Our DoctorOS platform is becoming the backbone of modern healthcare delivery. We combine rigorous clinical leadership, real-world healthcare workflows, and AI tooling that makes doctors 10x more productive. We’re backed by Entrepreneur First, have recently closed an oversubscribed funding round, and are live with some of the largest healthcare providers in the UK generating revenue and scaling fast.
Your mission at Asterix
You’ll own the relationship with our GP practice partners — from the moment they sign, through onboarding, and as the partnership grows. You’re building the function from scratch and setting the standard for how Asterix works with practices at scale.
In the first few months, you’ll:
- Lead onboarding for new GP practices end-to-end — running sign-off meetings, getting clinical workflows set up correctly, and making sure practices feel confident from day one
- Become the trusted point of contact for clinical queries and concerns — resolving issues directly rather than passing them around
- Shadow our clinical operations and medical teams to get deep on our clinical model — so you can speak credibly with practice managers and clinicians alike
As you find your feet, you’ll:
- Build a systematic feedback loop with GP partners — capturing what’s working, what isn’t, and making sure it shapes how we operate
- Iterate our SOPs and audit processes based on real practice feedback, not assumptions
- Spot patterns across partnerships and flag them early — to the clinical team, to product, and to leadership
Who you’ll work with
You’ll report to Max (Co‑founder & COO) and work closely with Julian (Co‑founder & CEO) and our Clinical Operations team, led by Dr Mike Bewick (former NHS England Deputy Medical Director). You’ll develop deep expertise in clinical operations, governance and NHS primary care as you build out this function.
Why join us
You will have outsized impact on the trajectory of the company. This is a role where you have the trust, ownership and scope to solve complex, customer‑facing problems your way. You’ll learn more + faster here vs anywhere else. What it boils down to:
- Purpose & Pace: This is a once-in-a-generation shot to solve the biggest problem in healthcare. We are the only company in the country approved to do this. We’re going to take it by moving fast, working with intensity and executing without compromise. We don’t want to look back and think we could’ve pushed harder.
- Top‑of‑Market Reward: Base Salary meaningful equity with the chance to do career-defining work.
- No Friction: We cover whatever tools or resources you need to move fast.
- A Tight‑Knit Team: We work hard because we care, but we also laugh a lot, eat together, and back each other completely. Everyone here is here because they want to build something meaningful, with people they genuinely like.
As we grow, we see this role naturally evolving into a Customer Operations Lead — owning the customer function as we grow the business from 250,000 to 10,000,000+ patients.
