Customer Service Advisor – Devizes, SN10 2AZ, United KingdomAre you experienced and passionate about Customer Service?At Aster you can share your enthusiasm and drive for Customer Service in our Contact Centre. This is a busy but important role, so at times you’ll be working under pressure but your commitment to customer service will mean this is a great role for you.The successful candidate will be required to work their first 4-6 weeks full-time in our Devizes office, Monday – Friday from 8am – 4:30pm, to complete our induction training programme. Once the training programme is complete, you will be able to work flexibly with time spent in the office and working from home.What you’ll be doingYou’ll be talking to one of our customers on a call, live chat or by email every day, making appointments, supporting them to use our self-service options, resolving issues and ensuring that their needs are met, using your common sense and a logical approach to problem solving.You will be the voice for Aster and the first point of contact for all customers that call us.
We have 90,000 customers, so at times you will be managing a high volume of interactions. You will help customers in many ways, take control of situations and find resolutions for your customers. This will give you pride in your work, and you may be helping customers through difficult times. Experience in a similar role is desirable as you can take ownership of your customer cases, but full training will be given.Being empathetic and able to put yourself in our customers shoes is a must.About youYou will have experience working in a customer service role with the ability to handle customer complaints and problem-solve effectively.
You’ll be a good listener, understanding how to use your skills to ensure a great service is given. You will need to be a confident communicator and comfortable taking a high number of customer contact throughout the day.Multi-tasking will be one of your strengths as you’ll need to be able to chat with our customers whilst adding information to our system. You will be using many IT systems and methods, including Microsoft packages, so if you are competent and confident with IT then we want to hear from you.Resilience is a must and if you are good at not taking work personally whilst providing a great service, then this is the job for you!
