Have you been considering a trade career? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to complete an Electrical apprenticeship with our team in Wiltshire. This year, we are offering a successful candidate an Electrical apprenticeship within our team in Devizes. You will live within Wiltshire to share journeys with team members. You should have a ‘can do’ approach, enjoy problem solving, and be eager to build your portfolio from the beginning of your apprenticeship.

We will support you to work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Installation & Maintenance, which could lead to a successful career. The apprenticeship will take approximately 48 months to complete. During the week, you’ll work with your team in the community, in customers’ homes, and sometimes in empty properties to complete electrical tasks. Initially, you will work with your mentor to learn the necessary electrical skills, while completing technical learning with our training provider. As you gain confidence, you will undertake tasks independently. From the start of your apprenticeship, you will be responsible for completing all work related to your qualification, including taking pictures of your work for your portfolio and accurately recording your ‘off the job’ training to keep records up to date.

About you

You should be excited about becoming an apprentice and willing to work hard to succeed. You will need passes in Maths and English GCSE (or predicted grades of 4 and above), and be willing to work towards obtaining your driving licence if you don’t already have it. No prior college trade studies are necessary, as we will coordinate with our training provider to ensure you receive all necessary training.
