Are you good with a trowel, do you have a muck in do anything mindset? Well read on: We are looking for a Wet Trade Multi (Plaster, Tile and Bricklayer) to join our team in Hampshire.
You will bring your skills and experience including plastering, studwork, drylining and plaster-boarding, wall tiling, laying vinyl flooring and bricklaying/rendering to name just a few. You will be working in our customer’s homes, so you will have a customer service focus and be committed to continuous improvement. No two days are the same. You will carry out a number of jobs in a day with your work shared with you via your handheld device, your PDA. Primarily you will work alone but you will be part of the wider responsive repairs team so there’s always someone at the end of the phone to support you.
About you
You will have an NVQ or equivalent or demonstrate previous significant experience in general building. You will be able to identify causes and specify materials required to rectify any arising issues. You will need to be a confident user of IT, your work is shared via a PDA and you will need to control and manage yourself, your van stock and the expectations of others. You will be working with a variety of teams and communicating with them regularly, so you will be confident in managing expectations of both internal and external customers. We will supply a company vehicle to get you around, so you will need a full, UK driving licence.
