Deliver Change That Strengthens Our Future

Are you passionate about making a real difference? At Aster Group, we are committed to delivering change that builds trust, improves services, and supports the long-term success of our organisation and the communities we serve. We are looking for a Project Manager with experience leading regulatory, operating model, and growth focused change initiatives to help us deliver projects that truly matter.

Joining our Portfolio Management Office (PMO), you will play an essential role in delivering well-structured, people centred change that ensures we operate responsibly, efficiently, and sustainably.

Why this role matters

Your work will directly shape how colleagues and customers experience change. In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects that strengthen regulatory compliance, enhance operating models, and support organisational growth.
  • Plan and coordinate resources and suppliers, ensuring delivery stays on track, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Engage stakeholders across the organisation, building trusted relationships that help change land well and deliver real, measurable benefits.
  • Apply strong project management disciplines, using formal methodologies to manage risks, dependencies, budgets, and schedules.
  • Ensure new ways of working are integrated successfully, collaborating closely with change management and business design colleagues.
  • Monitor performance and progress, ensuring outcomes are delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

What we are looking for

You will thrive in this role if you are someone who enjoys delivering meaningful change in a structured, collaborative way. You bring:

  • Strong experience managing change or transformation projects.
  • Experience delivering initiatives related to regulatory compliance, operating model design, or organisational growth.
  • Excellent planning, risk management, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to influence, support, and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.
  • Confidence working across the full project lifecycle and applying best practice frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Experience working with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach, with a genuine desire to make change land well for customers and colleagues.

This role is considered a hybrid role enabling you to work from home if you wish. There will be the requirement to attend meetings with colleagues and stakeholders, so being happy to travel within our operating region is a must. Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.

Introduction to the PMO

By embedding consistent frameworks, standards, and governance, the PMO enables high-quality delivery across the change portfolio and drives continuous improvement. This function is central to achieving our long-term goals, ensuring every change initiative contributes to organisational success and delivers measurable benefits for our colleagues and customers.
