Overview
Legal Assistant – Conveyancing at Aster Group UK. Base pay range: Salary £32,614 per annum. Location: Flexible – able to travel within our operating region. Hours: 37 hours per week. Closing Date: 14 October 2025.
Bring your conveyancing skills into a role with purpose, variety and impact. We are looking for someone with conveyancing experience to support a busy programme of property disposals and acquisitions across our portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to our Strategic Asset Management team, helping to deliver a programme of property disposals and acquisitions.
- Coordinate the internal conveyancing process from property selection through to post-completion, supporting high-volume disposals of void properties and other land holdings.
- Liaise with solicitors, agents, valuers and lenders on matters including easements, restrictions, charges, surplus land sales and deeds of variation.
- Prepare legal packs, complete conveyancing protocol forms and respond to legal enquiries with input from colleagues across the business.
- Carry out occasional site visits to assist with defining boundaries, establishing rights of way and clarifying responsibilities for shared services and amenities.
About you
You will bring proven conveyancing experience, ideally gained in a property, housing or asset management setting, and a strong understanding of title and property documentation. You take pride in accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing and preparing legal documents.
You are a clear and confident communicator who builds good relationships with colleagues and external contacts. You are organised, pragmatic, and comfortable managing a busy and varied workload while maintaining quality.
This is a hybrid role with occasional travel across our operating region, so you will need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Ideally, you will live within or near our operating regions.
