Job Family: Supply Chain Warehouse Team Member – Team Leader
Key Accountabilities and Activities:
- Coordinate the team: conduct weekly cascade and monthly review meetings on a rotational basis; resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor line requirements and coordinate with line TLs, WTM’s and CTL/Supervisor’s to resolve issues.
- Drive health and safety: conduct risk assessments, daily safety checks, and ensure compliance.
- Manage environment: control energy and material waste, maintain 5S practices.
- Reporting and monitoring: monitor and record stock accuracy, report warehouse and health & safety issues.
- Problem solving: conduct initial investigation, drive improvements, and prioritise actions to meet targets and KPI’s.
- Training & development: coach and mentor WTM’s, provide feedback, identify training needs and maintain records.
- Performance & motivation: encourage WTM’s to meet department and team KPI’s and report key issues.
- Standard operations support: develop, update, and audit documentation against SOPs, QCS, and 5S requirements.
- WTM duties: carry out normal WTM tasks.
