Role Overview
The role of the Production Team Member is to manufacture and test parts or products using manual and automated equipment, perform other processes as required, conduct quality checks / machine checks and record results, and carry out repairs / adjustments as required.
Key Accountabilities and Activities
- Start‑up: Prepare jigs, tools and measuring equipment, and set up equipment within your process.
- Standard operations: Assemble within specification and in line with Standard Operating procedures.
- Quality checks: Adjust and check products in‑process throughout operation.
- Basic adjustments: Adjust equipment and inspect it to ensure running correctly, performing repair if necessary.
- Basic PM: Assist correct and repair any defect, and generally maintain machine to required standard.
- Supplier defects: Manage supplier rejects as required by the business.
Key Competencies
- Relevant experience in assembly type work, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Secondary Education Level (at least).
- Multitasking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and organise own workload efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
You may, from time to time, be required to carry out any other duties outside of this job description as deemed appropriate by your line manager.
