The role of the Production Team Member is to manufacture and test parts or products using manual and automated equipment, to perform other processes as required, quality checks/machine checks and record results, carry out repairs/adjustments as required.
Key Accountabilities and Activities:
- Start-Up: To prepare jigs, tools and measuring equipment, and set up equipment within your process.
- Standard Operations: To assemble within specification and in line with Standard Operating procedures.
- Quality Checks: Adjust and check products in-process throughout operation.
- Basic Adjustments: To adjust equipment and inspect it to ensure running correctly, performing repair if necessary.
- Basic PM: To assist correct and repair any defect, and generally maintain machine to required standard.
- Supplier defects: Manage supplier rejects as required by the business.
Key Competencies:
- Relevant experience in assembly type work would be beneficial, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Secondary Education Level (at least).
- Multitasking.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and organise own workload efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
