As Global Translational Medicine Lead Oncology, you will play a vital role in advancing healthcare through innovative solutions. Key Activities for this role:- Develop and execute translational science and biomarker development plans in clinic.
- Drive understanding of mechanism of action and patient selection strategies.
- Contribute to overall clinical development strategy and trial design.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to implement biomarker sample collection in clinical studies.
- Drive analysis and interpretation of clinical biomarker data.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate preclinical science and deliver clinical biomarker data to impact clinical development.
- Extensive experience in drug discovery and development.
- Strong scientific background in cancer biology and oncology drug development.
- Experience in delivering pharmacodynamic, proof of mechanism, predictive biomarkers and understanding mechanism of action and resistance in clinic.
- Proven record of leading projects and delivering biomarker data in a matrix environment.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
- Experience in tumour driver/oncogene biology, with expertise in solid tumours such as lung, colorectal, prostate, and pancreatic cancer.
- Experience with ctDNA analysis.
- Experience in managing CROs.
- Advanced science degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) or equivalent.
This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 day per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
