Main purpose of the role
The Asta Summer Internship Programme provides meaningful exposure to the Lloyd’s market and hands‑on experience within a leading third‑party managing agent. Interns will support their allocated team with administrative tasks, operational activity, and small project deliverables, helping the business manage workload during the summer period while giving interns a structured introduction to the industry.
The programme aims to:
- Give early‑career talent insight into the insurance market and Asta’s role within it.
- Provide short‑term resource to support priority business areas.
- Build a future pipeline of diverse, motivated individuals entering the profession.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the allocated function.
- Assist with data entry, tracking, reporting, or preparation of documentation.
- Contribute to small project tasks, research activity or process reviews.
