As a Technical Support Officer working on a nuclear power plant project, you will work closely with the Senior Record Support Officer to support quality‑related activities across projects. Your role mainly involves administrative support, document management, and quality data tracking to ensure the project meets the required standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support Records Support Manager and help with day‑to‑day admin and documentation tasks.
- Receive task requests and ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
- Edit, review, and organize quality documents.
- Use Teamcenter to upload and manage documents.
- Return completed document packs to the requester.
- Use Excel to track and manage task progress.
- Find and use the correct templates using specific codes.
- Complete and submit templates based on project needs.
- Help review documents for quality and compliance.
- Take part in MDT (Multi‑Disciplinary Team) meetings and support quality check processes.
- Assist in identifying and closing non‑conformance issues.
- Participate in training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.
- Support quality audits, root cause analysis, and improvement activities.
- Maintain trackers and dashboards with accurate data.
- Help prepare regular quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support investigations with relevant data when required.
- Organize and verify data across various tools and systems.
- Experience in a project environment, preferably in a regulated sector.
- Self‑starter and a Completer/Finisher.
- Good awareness of the quality/safety environment.
- Experience working in organisations that are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 19443.
- Experience of ONR Licence Conditions is an advantage.
- Experience in the review of Quality Records (e.g., Material Certification; CFSI).
- Ability to analyse quality data at various levels across the business.
- Ability to build effective relationships with the team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, ADOBE and Power BI.
- Pro‑active and flexible, planning and working on own initiative across a broad range of issues to drive performance.
- Background in Quality is desirable.
- Fluent in English, preferably with some French language skills.
