Job Description

In this role, you’ll ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials and equipment across a highly complex engineering environment. You’ll play a key coordination role across multiple worksites, helping logistics operations run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics activities across project areas
  • Act as the main point of contact for worksite logistics requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on safe and compliant movement of materials and equipment
  • Develop efficient transport routes and movement plans to support project delivery
  • Support inventory management, equipment transfers, and on-site workflows
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to keep operations running smoothly
  • Prepare clear documentation and communications for logistics planning
  • Contribute to progress meetings and provide logistics updates to stakeholders
  • Qualifications
  • Background in logistics, engineering, operations, or a similar technical field
  • Strong organisational and planning skills across complex or multi-site environments
  • Experience supervising work on high-hazard industrial sites (nuclear decommissioning experience is a plus)
  • Understanding of safety, environmental, and compliance requirements impacting logistics
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, inventory systems, and logistics software
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating across diverse teams
  • Strong problem-solving ability to support safe and efficient movement of people and materials
  • Experience managing site-based logistics challenges such as access, routing, and scheduling
