Job Description

We're looking for a Lead CS&A Engineer to drive the design and delivery of temporary structures, enabling works, and site modifications on a major project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop the layout of security enclosures, buffer stores, and external weatherproof structures.
  • Define and coordinate the scope of internal and external strip-out and modification works.
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings, details, and design documentation that clearly communicate design intent and specifications to contractors and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify design scope, identify interfaces, and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Support the successful delivery of safe, efficient, and buildable CS&A design solutions from concept through to construction.

Qualifications

  • Strong civil & structural drawing and detailing experience across a range of engineering projects.
  • Proven experience designing, detailing, and specifying temporary structures, including:
    • Heavy interlocking concrete block enclosures
    • Scaffold structures
    • Temporary fabric/weatherproof enclosures
  • Experience producing designs for specialist contractor delivery. Previous experience delivering work for Sellafield (SL) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in CAD and drawing editing software.
  • Experienced in locating and managing engineering drawings using Cimage.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical documentation in a collaborative engineering environment.
