With over 60 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, the group supports public and industrial stakeholders in the execution of complex and strategic infrastructure projects, subject to high safety and security requirements.Assystem mobilizes 8,000 experts in 13 countries and intervenes across the entire project lifecycle, in engineering, project management and digital solutions.Job Descriptionð The Job Missionð This hybrid role requires candidates within commutable distance of Bristol, with relocation support available where appropriate.You will lead pressure systems compliance and structural integrity activities across an allocated HPC project scope.You will act as a technical authority, supporting safe delivery through design, manufacture, installation and compliance activities.ð§Manage pressure systems compliance requirements across your allocated project scope ðAssess structural integrity requirements for safety-critical pressure systems ðApply RCC-M, ASME and relevant pressure equipment requirements ð¡️Ensure regulatory and structural integrity requirements are properly implemented ðCollaborate with project managers, designers, regulators and supply chain partners ðReview pressure equipment manufacture, installation and conformity assessment activities ️Provide technical decisions on pressure compliance issues within delegated authority ðMaintain compliance documentation, processes and supporting technical requirements ðInterface with international suppliers and support occasional European project travel ðSupport project delivery while maintaining nuclear safety and quality requirementsQualificationsðDegree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline ð§Experience with pressure systems manufacture, installation or structural integrity ️Experience within nuclear, power generation, oil and gas environments ðKnowledge of RCC-M or ASME pressure equipment design requirements ð¡️Understanding of pressure systems compliance and regulatory requirements ðStrong stakeholder management across multidisciplinary and matrix organisations ðExperience working with regulators, suppliers and engineering organisations ðStrong technical judgement and ability to resolve complex issues ðExcellent communication skills with strong influencing capability ðChartered Engineer status or progress towards professional registration advantageousAdditional Informationð Why Apply?Join Assystem and become a key player in delivering critical nuclear projects that shape the future of energy.
