At Assystem, our mission is to accelerate the energy transition worldwide.
To achieve this, our 7,500 Switchers combine their historical engineering expertise and project management with digital technologies.
In our 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia) of operation, we are working on the production and distribution of low-carbon electricity, through the development of nuclear and renewable energies.
We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and scheduling function across major programmes, portfolios, or business areas.
- Establish and maintain integrated programme schedules, planning governance, and performance management frameworks.
- Provide strategic schedule leadership and oversight to support programme delivery and organisational objectives.
- Ensure planning standards, methodologies, processes, and controls are consistently applied across all projects and programmes.
- Deliver high-quality schedule analysis, forecasting, critical path assessment, and performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Lead the identification and management of schedule risks, opportunities, constraints, and interdependencies.
- Support executive decision-making through scenario modelling, schedule optimisation, and strategic planning recommendations.
- Act as the senior planning authority for programme reviews, governance forums, and stakeholder engagements.
- Collaborate with Project Controls, Risk, Cost, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Delivery teams to ensure integrated project performance management.
- Assess and manage the schedule impacts of change, ensuring forecasts remain accurate and aligned with programme objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop planning teams, creating a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.
