The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
This is a full-time five-day on-site position at Hinkley Point C in Somerset. Relocation assistance is available for candidates within commutable distance. You will be part of the Fire Safety team advising on standards, performing audits and promoting a strong fire safety culture across contractors and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert fire-safety advice to contractors and stakeholders
- Review and develop fireâsafety management arrangements and policies
- Conduct fireâsafety audits and inspections across construction areas
- Collaborate with project and design teams on fireâsafety strategies
- Investigate fire incidents and report findings for continuous improvement
- Carry out and review fireârisk and DSEAR assessments
- Support contractor engagement to improve site fireâsafety performance
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Level 3 (or higher)
- Proven fireâsafety experience within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of fireâsafety systems and UK legislation
- Experience conducting fireârisk assessments and compliance audits
- Understanding of processâfire and DSEARârelated risks
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts effectively
