Our Information Manager team is going from strength to strength, meaning we have a constant pipeline of new and exciting roles coming available.

We currently have a number of exciting positions for information managers to work on one of the country\’s leading BIM projects in the defence sector. Both staff and contract positions are available, with support provided for those stepping into a contract role for the first time.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing and coordinating Information Management (IM) processes on a complex design and build project.

Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  • Applying IM Standards to the project and following the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Supporting information exchanges within the CDE solution.
  • Ensuring information exchange supports technical review and verification processes.
  • Supporting planning and execution of reviews and meetings, recording minutes, and distributing them via the CDE.
  • Identifying ownership of activities and actions to facilitate project progress.
  • Managing document packages, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and resolving issues, including reminders on transmittal windows and follow-ups.
  • Managing comment response matrices and ensuring comments are addressed.
  • Supporting the CDE and key deliverable schedules, promoting best practices and collaboration across teams and supply chains.
  • Providing reports and statistics on document management to senior management.
  • Controlling information workflows based on status codes in the CDE.
  • Ensuring full auditability of information transactions within the CDE, including tracking transactors, versions, and reviews.
  • Empowered to make a difference and ensure project success.

Effective communication skills and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • HNC/HND or higher in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in design and construction in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as Nuclear, Energy, Transportation, or Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure assets.
  • Proficiency in BIM standards and protocols.
  • Understanding of data management systems, technical governance, and approval protocols.
  • Experience managing a team of Document Controllers and Information Managers.
  • Experience with a Common Data Environment (CDE) following ISO 19650 standards and understanding of BIM processes.
