Job title: HSEE Manager (Interim HSEQ Manager)
This role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of HSEQ objectives across multiple high-profile nuclear and infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for embedding robust health, safety, environmental, and quality standards into project execution—ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee HSEQ management across complex nuclear and infrastructure projects
- Ensure project compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
- Conduct project-specific risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Drive the integration of digital HSEQ solutions into project workflows
- Support regulatory engagement and ensure project teams align with industry standards
- Implement lessons learned across projects to enhance safety and quality performance
- Develop and refine HSEQ strategies to support project delivery milestones
- Collaborate with project managers to embed best practices from planning through execution
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in HSEQ management within engineering, nuclear, or major infrastructure projects
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
- ISO 9001/14001/45001 Certified Lead or Internal Auditor
- In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in nuclear or highly regulated industries
- Proven track record of implementing HSEQ strategies across complex projects
- Strong ability to interface with regulatory bodies and project stakeholders
Desirable
- Chartered or Graduate Member of IOSH (GradIOSH/CMIOSH)
- Experience working in international nuclear or infrastructure projects
- Background in engineering consultancy or major project management
- Ability to implement digitalisation strategies in HSEQ processes
- Strong leadership skills in project environments
