Your Mission: We are seeking an experienced and driven Enclave & Logistics Project Manager to support the delivery of a high-profile capital infrastructure programme within a live operational environment. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering complex construction and infrastructure projects from early contractor involvement through to completion. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead projects from Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) through design, planning, construction, and commissioning
- Deliver enabling infrastructure works including buildings, roads, utilities, and security systems
- Define and drive project objectives, ensuring alignment with programme goals and business case requirements
- Build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior internal and external partners
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment
- Manage NEC4 contracts, ensuring suppliers deliver on time, within budget, and to the required quality
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues to avoid delays or cost escalation
- Take ownership of project budgets, providing accurate financial reporting and forecasting
- Support assurance processes and gateway reviews, providing evidence of progress and delivery confidence
- Ensure compliance with all governance, processes, and infrastructure standards
- Oversee contract close-out, ensuring all deliverables and financial commitments are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and reporting frameworks
- Produce and manage cash flow forecasts, implementing effective cost and change control processes
- Evaluate change requests and make recommendations based on impact assessments
- Maintain accurate project documentation, plans, and configuration management records
Qualifications: What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction or consultancy delivery, including at least 5 years in a management role
- Proven experience managing construction logistics within complex projects
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand cost vs value and confidently challenge Compensation Events (CEs)
- Hands-on experience delivering projects under NEC4 contracts, including change control and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders in demanding environments
Desirable Experience & Skills:
- Experience working in complex, live operational or regulated environments
- Background in collaborative, integrated project delivery environments
- Security experience, including working with security teams on physical, procedural, or cyber measures
- Experience planning and delivering major service diversion projects
- Adaptability and flexibility in fast-changing project environments
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6
- Familiarity with CEMAR or similar contract management systems
Qualifications & Training:
Essential:
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. project management, engineering, construction)
- NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation
Desirable:
- Nuclear awareness training (e.g. NIC or equivalent)
