Job DescriptionSummary of the RoleThe Capability Integration Governance role is based within the Client's Capability Integration team Join a major infrastructure programme where you'll lead governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to support effective decision-making, programme control, and delivery readiness.ð1 Key Responsibilitiesð Manage programme governance, reporting, and performance trackingð Lead stakeholder engagement and coordinate communication across programme teamsð Oversee change control, decision logs, and governance processesð Maintain key programme documentation, including RACI matrices, process maps, lessons learned, and SOPs Ensure effective oversight of Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, and Opportunities (RAIDO)ð Work with Planning and Risk Leads to ensure schedules, reporting, and programme data remain accurate and up to dateð Analyse and present governance data, producing high-quality reports, dashboards, and board packsð Support project controls, document management, and secretariat activities, ensuring compliance with programme processesQualificationsEXPERIENCEEssential: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a governance roleWorking knowledge of governance, risk, scheduling and process.
Have a sound knowledge of project governance activitiesAble to objectively analyse data and information to form a big-picture viewProcess detailed information to identify relevant key points to brief seniorsOrganisational and leadership skillsWorking experience of project control activities for infrastructure worksHands on experience of ensuring stakeholder engagement in project managementGood IT skills including competent user of MS 365 appliances, Power BI and JIRAExperience of working as part of a collaborative environmentDesirable: In-depth knowledge of the Government project delivery frameworkAbility to communicate effectively at executive levelAbility to be agile to react and reprioritise to changes in the Defence environmentExperience of managing stakeholders and delivery in complex live operational environmentQUALIFICATIONS & TRAININGSuitability: Suitable for an individual with working experience in a programme governance role,Ideally have experience in a government project delivery environment, though this is not essential. Qualifications and professional memberships that will be considered.
