Job Description

Your Role:

The Head of Engineering will lead and oversee all engineering activities within the program, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, especially in high-consequence environments like nuclear. Responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with regulators and stakeholders, and delivering engineering and safety case requirements for major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience dealing with regulators in high-consequence environments (e.g., nuclear).
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex projects.
• Chartered Engineer with membership in a recognized engineering institution.
• Experience managing engineering staff at a senior level.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with marine structures or naval architecture is advantageous.

Additional Information

The successful candidate must obtain UK Security Clearance. The role offers hybrid working from Glasgow, with occasional travel to site.
