Your Mission: Operating Model & Transformation Lead. Support the design, planning, and delivery of the future Client Delivery Model (CDM) for client site. You’ll help shape and implement an integrated operating model that aligns strategy with execution across a complex, highly regulated environment.

- Operating Model Design
- Design and refine operating model blueprints, principles, and success factors
- Define governance, structures, processes, and capabilities
- Align people, technology, and ways of working into a clear delivery plan
- Integrate across client environments
- Transformation & Delivery
- Lead transition planning to the new operating model
- Support readiness, change control, and adoption of new ways of working
- Provide governance insights and support decision-making
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work across Defence and industry partners to drive alignment
- Turn complex inputs into clear, actionable outputs
- What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in operating model design & transformation
- Expertise in governance, PMO, and portfolio management
- Confident stakeholder engagement in complex environments
- Essential Skills & Experience:
- Consultancy/advisory experience in complex, multi-stakeholder, regulated environments
- Background in Defence, secure, or nuclear settings
- Experience in large-scale transformation and integrated delivery
- Strong commercial awareness across traditional & innovative delivery models
- Proven ability to baseline current capability and design operating models with stakeholder buy-in
- Experience shaping and initiating Target Operating Model (TOM) transformations
- Solid understanding of Portfolio Management & P3M delivery
- Strong stakeholder management—confident working with senior leaders and driving alignment
- Good IT skills
- Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and resilient in fast-changing environments
- Understanding of portfolio-to-programme alignment and demand vs capacity planning
- Knowledge of governance, assurance frameworks, and cross-org delivery
- Experience embedding new ways of working and mobilising teams
- Ability to create clear artefacts (process maps, governance frameworks, org design, roadmaps)
