Responsibilities
- You will support delivery of Operational Service Centre and Skybridge building design activities.
- Manage delivery of remaining MEP execution design packages and readiness reviews.
- Coordinate technical configuration management and supplier-driven design change processes.
- Act as primary technical contact supporting project managers and construction teams.
- Challenge supplier proposals against contractual specifications and approved design requirements.
- Maintain oversight of health, safety and CDM compliance throughout project activities.
- Ensure Lifetime Quality Records documentation remains complete and compliant throughout delivery.
- Manage technical issue resolution with stakeholders, contractors and responsible designers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces across engineering, construction and operational teams.
- Support risk mitigation activities, escalation reporting and programme delivery objectives.
- Support handover strategy development and final operation and maintenance documentation.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline.
- Experience in project coordination and technical design management activities.
- Experience within nuclear or other highly regulated engineering industries essential.
- Strong understanding of building regulations and construction delivery processes.
- Knowledge of configuration management and engineering change control procedures.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and stakeholder interfaces.
- Knowledge of data centre environments would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills within collaborative environments.
- Ability to work proactively, independently and manage sensitive information professionally.
- Fluent English communication skills; French language capability would be desirable.
