- β±οΈ Own the timely delivery of defined life-cycle handover points (Design β‘οΈ Manufacture β‘οΈ Delivery β‘οΈ Commissioning), driving review and acceptance with all key stakeholders.
- π οΈ Manage and resolve engineering issues including Technical Queries (EQ), Early Warnings (EW), Open Points, and Design Change Requests in line with the Contract and RACI.
- π‘οΈ Engage approval bodies promptly when the Safety Case may be impacted.
- π€ Coordinate and liaise with all delivery partners, ensuring seamless information exchange and on-time role execution.
- π Establish and run a prioritisation process for queries and issues, balancing manufacturing and installation operational needs.
- π Deliver all engineering outputs to plan through strong collaboration with key stakeholders.
- π§ Ensure robust engineering support across all phases, including installation interfaces, with timely escalation and resolution of issues.
- β Drive Technical Acceptance delivery and associated surveillance in line with the defined framework.
- β οΈ Support management of engineering risks and opportunities, including tracking and control in ARM (where applicable).
- π Control design interfaces and supplier feedback, ensuring effective communication and resolution.

Qualifications

- β’ Proven experience delivering technical leadership in complex, safety-critical environments β ideally in the Nuclear Energy sector β’οΈ or similar regulated field.
- β’ Strong understanding of integrated management systems, including policies, procedures, and standards.
- β’ Experience in power systems engineering and/or grid connections π.
- β’ Skilled in stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.
- β’ Excellent communication π£οΈ, presentation π, and facilitation skills.
- β’ Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- β’ Understanding of PWR design (advantageous).
- β’ Familiarity with EU directives, British Standards, and company procedures.
- β’ Degree π and Chartered Engineer status (CEng) in engineering, construction, or a related field.
- β’ Knowledge of CDM Regulations ποΈ.
