Job Mission
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and review of cable routing systems for nuclear projects. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with UK cabling rules and nuclear regulations while producing high-quality routing deliverables.
- Prepare accurate routing reports ensuring integrity and compliance with UK routing rules.
- Collaborate with layout teams to manage cable tray design and 3D model quality checks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for design changes impacting routing activities.
- Provide feedback and beta testing for in-house routing software, improving performance.
- Deliver training on cable routing software, rules, and regulations.
- Participate in experience-sharing activities, integrating lessons learned from other projects.
- Report progress updates to routing meetings, layout teams, and management boards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of UK regulations and technical references.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience within heavy industrial projects.
