The Job Mission

This hybrid role is suited to candidates able to commute to Bristol or London offices, or relocate nearby. You will join the Digital Programme Management Team supporting the delivery of digital enablement solutions across a major nuclear infrastructure programme. The role is responsible for managing the successful delivery of business‑critical digital applications that support engineering, asset management and programme execution. The role requires a strong project management background within complex, highly regulated industries, with experience delivering digital solutions in safety‑critical environments. An understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) applications and delivery is highly desirable.

  • Manage the delivery of digital enablement projects supporting engineering, asset management and programme delivery functions.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies and delivery roadmaps across multiple workstreams.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver business‑critical digital capabilities.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of PLM and ALM applications within a complex programme environment.
  • Manage functional specifications, testing and quality assurance activities with internal teams and vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, drive stakeholder alignment and validate technical and business solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, configuration management, asset management and digital transformation teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure delivery activities comply with programme governance, assurance and quality requirements.
  • Support business transformation, user adoption and training activities associated with digital solution implementation.
  • Promote robust configuration and lifecycle management practices throughout engineering, construction and commissioning phases.
  • Apply lessons learned from major infrastructure programmes to improve delivery effectiveness and programme outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex digital, engineering or business transformation projects.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering projects within high‑integrity environments such as nuclear, defence, aerospace, rail, energy or other critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong experience managing delivery teams, suppliers and stakeholder networks across Client and Tier 1 organisations.
  • Good awareness of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) principles, processes and supporting technologies, with experience of delivering associated business applications in complex organisations.
  • Experience delivering enterprise applications supporting engineering, asset management or operational business functions.
  • Knowledge of Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), Asset Suite, or comparable PLM and ALM platforms would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, asset and configuration management processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams within complex technical and regulated environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, governance, facilitation and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively across both business and technical domains within large organisations.
  • Experience applying lessons learned and best practice from major infrastructure programmes.
  • Extensive experience across engineering, asset and programme delivery lifecycles.
  • Degree in engineering, science, project management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working on major nuclear programmes such as Hinkley Point C or Sizewell C.
  • Experience delivering PLM, ALM, engineering information management or enterprise application projects.
  • Experience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), Asset Suite or equivalent PLM and ALM platforms.
  • Experience leading teams delivering through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Background in nuclear, defence, aerospace, automotive or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation programmes and large‑scale system implementations.
  • Familiarity with multi‑project programme delivery environments.
