Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit! In this role, you'll lead technical projects by managing engineering interfaces, ensuring cohesive design integration, and refining architectural frameworks. You'll liaise with stakeholders, handle requirements, and support early-stage activities like optioneering and design concept development, collaborating closely with a dynamic project management team.
Your mission:
- Coordinate the creation of critical artefacts such as operations concepts, functional and system architectures, requirement and compliance statements, and verification and validation planning.
- Conduct optioneering assessments and design risk assessments (safety and CDM) to ensure robust project planning.
- Support integrated technical management by navigating technical and project risks, refining design configurations, and developing breakdown structures.
- Respond promptly to technical queries, ensuring clarity and swift resolution.
- Liaise seamlessly with all disciplines to achieve unified design coordination.
- Apply cutting-edge systems engineering best practices to elevate team capabilities.
- Develop and propose innovative Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches for streamlined processes.
- Report progress on deliverables and provide strategic resource level recommendations to the Project Lead Engineer (Systems and Integration).
