A CS&A Designer is required to draw and detail the temporary structures, modifications and enabling works within the CS&A design scope of the project. The role may involve the following:

  • Collaborating with the lead CS&A engineer and other engineering disciplines to determine the layout of the security enclosure, buffer store and external weather‑proof enclosure.
  • Collaborating with the lead CS&A engineer and other engineering disciplines to determine the extent of strip‑out and modifications (both internal and external).
  • Producing drawings and details to communicate both the design intent and specification to contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Undertaking site inspections to confirm design scope and interfaces in order to draw and detail the design solutions.

Qualifications

  • General all‑round civil and structural drawing and detailing experience required, with experience in drawing, detailing and specifying temporary enclosures (scaffold, heavy interlocking concrete blocks and temporary fabric tents) for specialist contractor delivery.
  • Experienced in delivering work for SL (preferred).
  • Proficient user of CAD and drawing editing packages.
  • Experience in searching for drawings on Cimage.
