This is a hybrid role, with regular presence required in our Bristol office. If you aren’t local, you will be supported by relocation allowance where needed. You’ll act as the technical lead for electrical cabling and layout contracts on a major nuclear project; coordinating with suppliers, designers, and client stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality electrical design delivery.
- Act as primary technical contact for cabling, lightning, and cabinet contracts
- Review supplier documents against electrical technical reference requirements
- Coordinate interfaces with all responsible electrical and multi-discipline designers
- Manage technical issues, modifications, and non-conformances within contract scope
- Monitor risks, opportunities, open points, and contract changes with client
- Prepare and issue consolidated technical comment sheets to suppliers
- Manage contract transfer sheets and technical change communications
- Support supplier qualification and equipment delivery-to-site tracking
Qualifications:
- Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline
- Knowledge of NFC15-100, NF C 13-200, BS7671, IEC 60909
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical cable products
- Experience reviewing cabling and cabinet design documentation
- Background in highly regulated industrial environments
- Experience interfacing with clients and equipment suppliers
- Knowledge of RCC-E electrical regulations desirable
