Job Description

This is a hybrid role based in Bristol, requiring regular office attendance with flexible home working. You will provide specialist IMS and CAD support to nuclear engineering teams. You will ensure digital tools, automation and user support enable efficient engineering delivery.

  • Provide expert support across AVEVA E3D, DRAW, PDMS, DRAFT and Diagrams
  • Coordinate CAD support activities, requests and technical issue resolution
  • Manage CAD file structures, scripts and configuration activities
  • Develop macros and automation tools to support engineering workflows
  • Act as key interface between UK engineering teams and French CAD teams
  • Define, track and deliver CAD improvement action plans and roadmaps
  • Provide local IMS and CAD technical support to engineering users
  • Deliver training and guidance to end‑users when required

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum five years’ experience using AVEVA CAD software
  • Strong scripting experience using PowerShell, Python or PML
  • Experience supporting CAD tools in engineering environments
  • Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience working with Windows and IT technologies

Desirable Skills

  • Experience supporting nuclear engineering projects
  • Prior IMS or CAD support service experience
  • Experience working in regulated environments
  • French language capability
  • Experience developing automation for engineering teams
